Artist Statement

The world needs light. A single ray of the sunshine can bring us joy, and when we're happy we can love. My images, whether oil paintings, watercolors, digital art, or mixed media; whether for children or adults, interpret the music in my soul and I want to share it with the world.

Artist Bio

Born in Ohio, educated in Indiana, began writing while basking in the South Carolina sunshine, and learned to open her heart in Florida. Ms. Buscher is a published author of children's stories and plays. The Cat-Atsrophe, a 2-act musical, was produced for Piccolo-Spoleto, Charleston, SC's annual cultural festival. She was nominated three times for the Elizabeth O'neill Vemer Award—South Carolina's prestigious arts award. Ms. Buscher's art has been exhibited in the S.C. Miniature Juried Show and the Venice Art Center Juried Show. Her paintings, sketches of Europe, and commercial art have been displayed in local businesses, and hang in private homes both in the US and the UK.
